Visual artist VIENNE REA's forty-year career in the fine art disciplines of photography and sculpture has given rise to her most recent venture, THE LOVE LADDERS, a collection of sculptural jewelry and curio designs.
In 2012, VIENNE's desire to pursue the new discipline of sculpture carved itself into a singular theme—ladders—spurred by a vision that came to her in a dream. Later, her decision to continue exclusively using the ladder as a symbol in her jewelry designs greatly enriched her expressive use of autobiographical and biographical storytelling.
The same sensitivity for telling soulful stories in her photographs and sculptures is beautifully and captivatingly represented in VIENNE's designs. Every piece in the collection is given a name. This personalization allows for an instant intimacy in relating with each piece. Then, together, the heart and mind begin to explore the meaning given to one's life stories.

An upcoming design in this collection, THE FORGIVENESS PENDANT, is currently in production. It is an exact replica of VIENNE’s larger kinetic sculpture, THE FORGIVENESS PIECE.
